# North Dakota Insurance Department Jon Godfread, Commissioner # BULLETIN 2020-5 TO: Insurance Carriers and Other Regulated Entities ![img-0.jpeg](img-0.jpeg) FROM: Jon Godfread, Commissioner DATE: March 25, 2020 SUBJECT: Electronic Reporting and Deadline Extensions As part of the North Dakota Insurance Department's ("the department") initiative to help protect consumers during this COVID 19 pandemic, we are issuing this bulletin as the department's ability to receive and process paper filings may be limited. To prevent further disruption of the business being conducted by insurers and other regulated entities, the Company Licensing and Examinations Division will, accept all filings electronically. All company licensing filings should be sent to colicexam@nd.gov. If a filing is to be accompanied by a fee, please include a copy of the check along with the electronic filing. The hardcopy of the original filing and the fee should be mailed to the department. If you choose to pay your fee electronically, please contact Rachel Kriege at rkriege@nd.gov for electronic payment options. All company filings related to product form and rate filings for all lines of business should continue to utilize SERFF. If a company has questions or concerns related to a product filing, please contact Chrystal Bartuska at cabartuska@nd.gov. The department also understands that insurers and other licensees may encounter difficulties in meeting regulatory filing deadlines. If your company believes that it will not be able to meet a regulatory filing deadline, please contact Matt Fischer at mattfischer@nd.gov.
