WIGEN, COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE RE : BINDING INTERCOMPANY ARBITRATION DATE: AUGUST 10, 1981 During the implementation of the no-fault law, included in the discussions was the item of an arbitration committee. Such a committee had previously been organized and was operating and it was therefore the unanimous opinion of all concerned that the same committee continue to function and be utilized to arbitrate disagreements between companies if they failed to agree voluntarily. To eliminate any misunderstanding which may have developed, it is directed that the existing Intercompany Arbitration Committee be designated as the Binding Intercompany Arbitration Committee to adjudicate disagreements between companies under the North Dakota Auto Reparations Act. The designation of this committee as such is effective as of the effective date of the act, January 1, 1976.
