The terms used throughout this title have the same meaning as in North Dakota Century Code
chapter 53-06.2, except "promotion fund" means a special fund administered by the commission,
established to assist in improving and upgrading racetracks in the state, for the promotion of live and
simulcast horse racing within the state, and for developing new racetracks in the state as necessary
and approved by the commission.
