1. The child-placing agency shall ensure that the supervisor and child placement coordinator receive at least ten hours of training per year with evidence of completion in the employee file. Activities related to orientation and supervision of the employees and routine tasks are not training activities for the purpose of this requirement. 2. Prior to a new employee working independently, the child-placing agency shall provide orientation training to the employee covering all of the following areas, with evidence of completion present in the employee file: a. Child-placing agency philosophy and program goals; b. Administrative procedures, policies, and protocols; c. Personnel policies; d. Expected employee conduct with coworkers and clients; e. Protocol for identifying and reporting child abuse and neglect; and f. Disaster plan.
