Banks - Federal and state credit unions

Any credit union organized under the Federal Credit Union Act [12 U.S.C.A. 1751] is exempt from North Dakota sales tax on purchases of tangible personal property for its own use. Credit unions organized under North Dakota Century Code chapter 6-06 are subject to North Dakota sales and use tax.
