Specialized rehabilitative services

Specialized rehabilitative services shall, at a minimum, include physical therapy, speech and
language pathology, occupational therapy, and health services for mental illness and mental retardation
and shall:
1.
Be provided upon a written order of a licensed health care practitioner, who shall be
responsible for the general medical direction of such services as part of the total care of the
resident.
2.
Be provided directly by facility staff or obtained through contract with outside resources.
