Use of funds

The state health officer or designee shall determine the scope of the project, eligibility of
emergency medical services operations, and distribution amounts on an annual basis. Considerations
shall include:
1.
How the emergency medical services operation fits into the overall structure of provision of
emergency medical services in the state;
2.
The needs of the emergency medical services operation and neighboring operations;
3.
Compliance with the requirements set forth in chapter 23-46 of the North Dakota Century
Code; and
4.
Existence of local matching funds.
