Limit of certification

Certification of a laboratory is not an endorsement by the department of the quality or validity of the
data generated by a laboratory. Certification does not guarantee the usability of data generated by a
laboratory for an intended purpose. The users of laboratory results are responsible for determining
whether to accept or reject analytical data from a certified laboratory.
