Applicability of requirements for use and management of containers

1. Sections 33.1-24-05-89 through 33.1-24-05-102 apply to owners and operators of all hazardous waste facilities that store containers of hazardous waste, except as section 33.1-24-05-01 provides otherwise. 2. If a hazardous waste is emptied from a container, the residue remaining in the container is not considered a hazardous waste if the container is "empty" as defined in section 33.1-24-02-07. In that event, management of the container is exempt from the requirements of sections 33.1-24-05-89 through 33.1-24-05-102.
