Inspections

1. The state geologist or the state geologist's representative shall have access to all drilling or exploration sites, mines, and processing facilities regulated under this chapter for the purpose of inspection and sampling. The state geologist may require the aid of the permitholder if the state geologist finds such aid necessary and requests such aid. 2. If samples are to be collected by the state geologist, details relating to the starting date of the collection of such samples and the drill site locations must be worked out between the state geologist or the state geologist's agents and the permitholder or the permitholder's agents before the starting date of collection.
