Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth rules and procedural requirements which the
commissioner deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the North Dakota Insurance Holding
Company System Regulatory Act (North Dakota Century Code chapter 26.1-10). The information called
for by this chapter is declared to be necessary and appropriate in the public interest and for the
protection of policyholders and shareholders in this state.
