Promotional increase

An appointing authority may grant a salary increase when an employee is promoted, if all of the
following requirements are met:
1.
The employee must be paid at least the minimum of the new salary range.
2.
Consideration must be given to the internal salary relationships that would exist in the agency
if the increase were to be given.
3.
The magnitude of the change in jobs is considered.
