Confirmation of bid or proposal

1. When the procurement officer knows or has reason to conclude that a mistake has been made, the procurement officer may request the bidder or offeror to confirm the bid or proposal. Examples of situations in which confirmation is appropriate include obvious, apparent errors on the face of the bid or proposal, or a bid or proposal unreasonably priced in relation to the others submitted. 2. If the bidder or offeror confirms the mistake, the bid or proposal may be corrected or withdrawn in accordance with these rules.
