37-17.1-14. Mutual aid 1. Counties and cities must be encouraged and assisted by the division of homeland security and emergency management to conclude suitable arrangements for furnishing mutual aid in emergency management. The arrangements must include provision of aid by persons and units in public employ. 2. In review of local disaster or emergency plans, the division of homeland security and emergency management shall consider whether they contain adequate provisions for the rendering and receipt of mutual aid.
