37-18-07. Commissioner - Appointment - Qualifications - Term - Salary The appointment, qualifications, term of office, and salary of the commissioner must be as prescribed by the governor. The commissioner must be allowed such amounts for travel, clerkhire, and expenses as may be prescribed from time to time by legislative appropriations.
