39-12-05.2. Interstate weight limitations if permitted by the Congress of the United States. If congressional action occurs authorizing a greater gross weight on the interstate system than allowed under section 39-12-05, a person may operate on an interstate highway a vehicle the gross weight of which is at most the weight allowed by the congressional action.
