39-12-06. Limitations on extending of load beyond side of motor vehicle
No motor vehicle carrying any load beyond the lines of the left fenders of such vehicle nor
extending more than twelve inches [30.48 centimeters] beyond the line of the fenders on the
right side of such vehicle may be operated on the highways, except as permitted by section
