12.1-04.1-13. Notice of expert witnesses Not less than twenty days before trial, each party shall give written notice to the other of the name and qualifications of each tier 1a mental health professional or other individual the respective party intends to call as an expert witness at trial on the issue of lack of criminal responsibility or requisite state of mind as an element of the crime charged. For good cause shown, the court may permit later addition to or deletion from the list of individuals designated as expert witnesses.
