54-17-27. Grant program for home weatherization programs The industrial commission or its designee shall administer a home weatherization grant program to provide financial assistance to regional offices which administer the United States department of energy home weatherization program. Grant moneys must be used for direct consumer benefit programs to support labor and material costs for roof repair and heating plant repair to effect energy conservation. No funds may be used for administrative purposes.
