54-44.3-28. College student cooperative education or intern program - Eligibility The director shall establish and administer within the executive and legislative branches of state government a program through which college students may receive stipends and academic credit for participating in a cooperative education or internship program. The program must be open to any student enrolled in a public or private educational institution in this state which has been accredited by an agency recognized by the United States department of education. The director shall establish classifications and develop uniform application procedures for the cooperative education or internship program.
