65-04-27. Payment of claims - Employers in default The payment of a judgment rendered in an action brought against an employer for the collection of defaulted premiums or the voluntary payment of the amount of premium, penalties, and costs prior to judgment entitles the employer and that employer's employees to the benefits provided in this title from the date of the payment. The organization shall pay an employee who sustains an injury while working for an employer whose premium is in default the same as the employee would receive if the employee were working for an employer whose premium is not in default.
