26.1-02-26. Accounting practices and procedures manual The commissioner shall adopt by rule the accounting practices and procedures manual published by the national association of insurance commissioners. The provisions of the accounting practices and procedures manual adopted by the commissioner govern the statutory accounting practices of all insurance companies, including health maintenance organizations, licensed to do business in this state. Any reference to the accounting practices and procedures manual in this title means the manual the commissioner adopts by rule, unless specifically stated otherwise.
