26.1-02-29. Compliance with federal law The commissioner shall administer and enforce the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act [Pub. L. 111-148] and the provisions of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 [Pub. L. 111-152] to the extent that the provisions apply to insurance companies subject to the commissioner's jurisdiction and to the extent that the provisions are not under the exclusive jurisdiction of any federal agency.
