26.1-14-02. Definitions As used in this chapter, unless the context or subject matter otherwise requires: 1. "Company" means the North Dakota medical malpractice mutual insurance company. 2. "Physician" means physician and surgeon (M.D.) and osteopathic physician and surgeon (D.O.). 3. "Practice of medicine" means the practice of medicine, surgery, and obstetrics and has the same meaning specified in section 43-17-01.
