001 PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES 001.01. The purpose of the Nebraska Opportunity Grant Act is to enhance the educational opportunities of Nebraska resident students by providing direct financial assistance to eligible students, based on financial need, attending eligible postsecondary institutions.
