41 NAC 1-001. General Authority

001 General Authority. Under authority of and in compliance with Neb. Rev. Stat. Section 84-304.01, the following rules and regulations are prescribed by the Auditor of Public Accounts and are effective five days after being filed with the Secretary of State until repealed or amended. 01.01 Effective date. These standards shall apply to audits and reports of political subdivisions for fiscal years ending on or after the effective date of this Title. 01.02 Applicability of standards. These standards apply solely to the audited financial statements filed with the Auditor of Public Accounts and do not pertain to the method of accounting used by the political subdivisions in recording financial transactions.
