INS NO.11-018-AB To: All Property and Casualty Insurer From: Roger Sevigny, Commissioner /A ~ Date: September 22, 2011 Subject: Directive - Workers Compensation Administration Fund Assessment Please be advised that the New Hampshire Insurance Department is directing insurance carriers that they may build the Workers Compensation Administration Fund Assessment obligations into their loss cost multipliers. This directive is a result of a 2008 legislative change. The Department wants to avoid any possible double counting of the carrier's assessment that could occur if the assessment is included in loss costs. We are also directing NCCI to amend its pending loss cost filing to exclude this assessment, and to provide to its affiliates notice of this regulatory directive as well as the amended loss costs.
