According to established practice and the terms of Department Bulletin No. 16-08 (http://www.state.nj.us/dobi/bulletins/blt16_08.pdf), all institutions are required to prepare and maintain a disaster preparation plan to address all reasonably foreseeable risks to continuity of business in the event of a catastrophic event. The Department notes the particular importance to New Jersey citizens of maintaining financial services in these circumstances. Therefore, the Department requests that institutions review their disaster preparation plans, including the primary and secondary contact person information as set forth above, and provide and/or update the Department with primary and secondary contact person information, including phone numbers and email addresses for the designated contact persons, within 30 days of the date of this Bulletin. Should the contact information submitted to the Department under the request of this Bulletin change in the future, the Department additionally requests that institutions provide the Department with all changes to this contact information within 30 days of the date of the change.
