Rule 22-208. Surety bond.

A. Official court reporters and court monitors. Pursuant to the provisions of the Surety Bond Act, the clerk of the district court shall assure that the applicable premium is paid to the Risk Management Division of the General Services Department for official court reporters and court monitors employed by the district. B. Named insured. The State of New Mexico shall be named in the bond as the insured. C. Independent contractors. Official court reporters who are independent contractors shall be bonded as provided in their contracts.
