Rule 22-614. Admissibility of evidence.

In proceedings held pursuant to these rules: A. Exclusion of evidence. Strict adherence to the Rules of Evidence is not required; however, irrelevant, immaterial, unduly repetitious and unduly prejudicial evidence shall be excluded; B. Judicial notice. Official notice may be taken of all facts of which judicial notice may be taken, pursuant to the Rules of Evidence; C. Rulings. Rulings on evidence shall be made by the presiding officer; D. Exclusion of witnesses. The board or hearing officer may exclude witnesses from the hearing at the request of either party.
