A. Addressing the court. Attorneys and pro se parties shall stand when addressing the court or examining witnesses unless permission to remain seated is granted by the court. B. Gum; tobacco. The chewing of gum or the presence of tobacco in the mouth is prohibited in all courtrooms. C. Civility. Attorneys and pro se parties shall be civil and courteous to opposing attorneys and pro se parties in all matters, both inside and outside the courtroom.
