As described in more detail in the Superintendent’s Emergency Orders, the deadline for both reports is being extended from May 16, 2022 to June 30, 2022; or until the Governor rescinds one or more of her executive orders regarding the state of emergency she has declared for the following counties: • Colfax • Lincoln • Mora • San Miguel • Sandoval, • Taos, and • Valencia. Please note that the filing deadline extension applies only to agents with physical offices located in the above-listed counties. In case of a conflict between this Bulletin and the Emergency Orders, the Emergency Orders shall control. The relevant OSI docket numbers are 2022-014 and 2022- 015. Additionally, it is of great concern that the wildfire emergency might impact the integrity and availability of policyholder records, related documents, and title plant in the areas impacted by wildfire. All title insurers and agents are strongly encouraged to take every safe and reasonable precaution to ensure the preservation of policyholder records, related documents, and title plant. Residents who have left their homes and temporarily relocated to other areas may have lost access to title insurance records and related documents.
