Driver License Restrictions

Driver's licenses, other than licenses issued under the 18.19.5 NMAC 9 New Mexico Commercial Driver's License Act, may be issued with one or more of the following restrictions: Restriction Code Restriction B Driver must wear corrective lenses while driving. C Driver limited to vehicles equipped with suitable mechanical aids such as special brakes, hand controls or other adaptive devices. D Driver must use prosthetic aids (other than corrective lenses) while driving, except as otherwise provided in Subsection C of 18.19.5.33 NMAC. E Driver limited to vehicles with automatic transmissions. F Driver limited to vehicles with outside mirrors. G Driver limited to driving a vehicle during daylight hours only. H Driver limited to driving a vehicle for employment reasons only. I Limited - other.
