Section 8. Standard Of Compliance

The degree of compliance required throughout these regulations is designated by the use of the words “shall” or “must” or “may”. “Shall” or “must” means mandatory compliance. “May” means permissive compliance. The words “adequate”, “proper”, and other similar words mean the degree of compliance that is generally accepted throughout the professional field by those who provide services to the public in facilities. 8.370.15 NMAC 4
