Section 45. Lighting

The facility must meet the following requirements for lighting: A. all spaces occupied by people, machinery, or equipment within buildings, approaches to buildings, and parking lots shall have lighting; B. lighting will be sufficient to make all parts of the area clearly visible; C. all lighting fixtures must be shielded; D. lighting fixtures must be selected and located with the comfort and convenience of the staff and patients in mind; E. a fixed or portable examination light must be provided for all examination and treatment rooms.
