Premises - Food Animal Facilities

Veterinary premises where food animal medicine is practiced shall have a reception room and office or a combination of the two. The premises shall contain the following: A. facilities for cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment; B. telephone and answering services; C. record keeping system; D. facilities for proper storage of pharmaceuticals and biologics; E. holding pens; F. capability for providing restraint; and G. a sanitizable area for clean surgery.
