Section 6. Objectives

A. to establish certification requirements for behavioral health services provided to children and adolescents of New Mexico through the medicaid program (Title XIX of the Social Security Act); B. to provide for monitoring of agency compliance with these certification requirements to identify any factors that could affect the health, safety, and welfare of the clients or the staff; C. to assure that the agency establishes and follows written policies and procedures that specify how these certification requirements are met; and D. to assure that adequate supervision is provided at all times.
