Joinder of minor spouse in conveyances, mortgages and

leases. A married person under the age of majority may join with his or her spouse in all transactions for which joinder is required by Section 40-3-13 NMSA 1978 and such joinder shall have the same force and effect as if the minor spouse had attained his or her majority at the time of the execution of the instrument.
