§ 18-6-20. Definitions

As used in the Historic Preservation Loan Act: A. “ committee ” means the cultural properties review committee; B. “ division ” means the historic preservation division of the cultural affairs department; C. “ fund ” means the historic preservation loan fund; D. “ property owner ” means the sole owner, joint owner, owner in partnership or corporate owner of a registered cultural property. As used in this subsection, the term “ property owner ” includes the owner of a leasehold interest in a registered cultural property, if the term of the lease is not less than nineteen years; and E. “ registered cultural property ” means a site, structure, building or object entered in the state register of cultural properties or the national register of historic places or both.
