N.M. Stat. § 1-13-17
Post-election duties; nature of documents.
The returns and certificates sent to the secretary of state are public documents, subject to
inspection during customary office hours by candidates and by the chairman of the state central
committee of each political party or his accredited representative, and may be copied upon
request of a candidate or state chairman.
