Rule 30 . Ex parte motions and orders. A proposed order shall accompany all ex parte applications and motions that reference exclusively procedural matters and not the substantive merit of a matter. No proposed ex parte order shall be presented to a judge for signing before the case has been filed with the filing office, given a case number, and assigned to a department.

A party in a criminal proceeding may submit an ex parte application to place a matter on calendar for issues that do not pertain to the merits of the criminal prosecution.
