Bulletin No. 02-002 January 30, 2002 ANNUAL STATEMENT REQUIREMENTS PURSUANT TO NRS 680A.270 To ensure compliance with Chapter 680A of the Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS), Section 270, regarding the filing of the Annual Statement, the Department of Business and Industry, Division of Insurance (Division), provides the following clarification: • The general form of the annual statement is the current form as adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), for the type of insurer and kinds of insurance to be reported. • The annual statement must be prepared in accordance with the NAIC Annual Statement Instructions for the type of insurer as adopted by the NAIC. • The State of Nevada adopted the NAIC Accounting Practices and Procedures Manual as of January 1, 2001, and any such annual statements submitted to the Division must be in accordance with this manual. __________________________________________ ALICE A.
