Examination of witnesses; affidavits.

1. Witnesses may be examined orally under oath. Opposing parties have the right to cross-examine any witness whose testimony is introduced by an adverse party. 2. An affidavit may be admitted as evidence in lieu of oral testimony if the matters contained therein are otherwise admissible and the parties agree to its admission.
