Witness fees; fees to persons taking depositions.

1. Witnesses summoned before the Board are entitled to be paid the same fees and mileage that are paid to witnesses in the courts of the State of Nevada. 2. Witnesses whose depositions are taken and the persons taking the depositions are entitled to the same fees as are paid for similar services in the courts of the State of Nevada. 3. Witness fees and mileage must be paid by the party at whose instance the witness appears. The party at whose instance the deposition is taken shall pay the person taking the deposition. REVISER’S NOTE. Pursuant to the provisions of NRS 0.024 , former NAC 618.860 contained definitions that were deemed duplicative of those set forth in NRS 618.750 and was removed from chapter 618 of NAC in accordance with ch. 56, Stats. 2009, which contains the following provision not included in NRS: “Sec. 2. The Legislative Counsel shall, in preparing supplements to the Nevada Administrative Code, appropriately change, move or remove any words and terms in the Nevada Administrative Code in a manner that the Legislative Counsel determines necessary to ensure consistency with the provisions of section 1 of this act [ NRS 0.024 ].”
