To be licensed as an abatement worker, an applicant must: 1. Be at least 18 years of age; 2. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, provide evidence of the successful completion of an initial training course approved by the EPA for workers; 3. If the certificate for the initial training course required by subsection 2 has expired, provide evidence of participation in a refresher training course approved by the EPA for workers; and 4. Pay a licensing fee of $25.
