Monitors: Services that may be provided.

A licensed consultant who is accredited as a monitor may: 1. Oversee abatement projects carried out by a licensed contractor. 2. Collect air samples at abatement projects, including the collection of clearance air monitoring samples, monitoring of employees’ exposure and area monitoring. 3. Perform the final clearance of completed abatement projects to determine if the project is complete. 4. Observe abatement projects for compliance with generally accepted standards of the industry and applicable state and federal regulations.
