An approved program for medication aides - certified must provide: 1. At least one instructor for each 15 trainees to provide theoretical instruction in the classroom; and 2. At least one instructor for each four trainees to provide instruction on nursing skills and the administration of medication in clinical practice or through the use of simulators.
