“Adequate notice” interpreted.

For the purposes of subsection 14 of NRS 633.511 , the Board will interpret the phrase “adequate notice” to mean that: 1. Notice has been provided in writing to the patient at the patient’s last known address; and 2. Except in exigent circumstances, such notice has been provided to the patient at least 30 days before the medical care of the patient is terminated.
