Reinstatement of expired license; reapplication for licensure.

1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2 and NAC 637.285 , an apprentice dispensing optician who fails to renew his or her license before the license expires on January 31 of each year may have the license reinstated if the apprentice dispensing optician: (a) Pays any renewal fee set forth in NAC 637.265 that is not waived; and (b) Pays the delinquency fee set forth in NAC 637.265 . 2. The Board will not reinstate the delinquent license of an apprentice dispensing optician who does not apply for reinstatement before March 1 of each year. 3. An apprentice dispensing optician whose license is not reinstated pursuant to subsection 2 may reapply for licensure as an apprentice dispensing optician pursuant to NAC 637.260 not sooner than 1 year after the expiration date of his or her license.
