Effect of violation.

A violation of any provision of NAC 683A.716 is: 1. An unfair method of competition or an unfair or deceptive act or practice in the business of insurance in violation of NRS 686A.020 . 2. A cause for disciplinary action pursuant to NRS 683A.451 . REVISER’S NOTE Pursuant to the provisions of NRS 0.024 , former NAC 683A.750 contained a definition that was deemed duplicative of that set forth in NRS 681A.022 and was removed from chapter 683A of NAC in accordance with ch. 56, Stats. 2009, which contains the following provision not included in NRS: “Sec. 2. The Legislative Counsel shall, in preparing supplements to the Nevada Administrative Code, appropriately change, move or remove any words and terms in the Nevada Administrative Code in a manner that the Legislative Counsel determines necessary to ensure consistency with the provisions of section 1 of this act [ NRS 0.024 ].”
